Sitting still in meditation is the practice
by which there is constant observation of the
mind for the specific purpose of discovering
that infinite well of wisdom which lies within.
Pranayama (prana=life-force; yama = restraint
or ayama = expansion) is literally translated
“breath control” covering a wide range of yogic
breathing techniques to open blockages in the
nadis (the body’s energy channels), calm the
mind and invigorate the body. Pranayama provides
a method to go beyond one's normal boundaries
to attain a higher state of vibratory energy.
Private Yoga Class
The word yoga (from the Sanskrit word yuj means
to yoke or bind) refers to union between body
and mind or body, mind and spirit and within
the traditional acceptance as union between
one's individual consciousness and the Universal
Consciousness. Practicing yoga in asanas is
a physical postures program designed to purify
the body and provide physical strength, subtleness
and stamina. Uma Sapna offers yoga classes in
Sivananda, Vinyasa Flow, Asthanga and general
Hatha adjusting to all levels and held in various
languages (English, Japanese, French, German,
Indonesian). Also offering Partner Yoga classes
especially designed for couples.
Yoga Day Spa
A holistic day combining yoga, meditation and
pranayama with massage and relaxation accentuated
by an especially designed health menu.
Uma Sapna Yoga Retreat
A 3-day or even 6-day in-villa yoga retreat
with daily 4 hours of yoga, meditation and pranayama.
