Housekeeping
The cooking staff generally arrive around 8.00am each day, ready to cook you breakfast, squeeze you a juice, brew you a coffee. The housekeeping staff arrive at 09:00am to make up your room, and do general gardening and pool maintenance. We have a team of 10 staff, all of which wear a name badge to help you remember their name. Staff finish the day at about 5.00pm, but a cook can stay longer to assist you with dinner if requested.
Laundry
Each bedroom has a basket for you to place your laundry in. If you have delicate items, or there is a possibility of any items that may shrink or run, please advise Eko. He will ensure the maids wash to your instructions. If your garments have gone for washing in the morning they should be back to you by the next evening. If you need something in a hurry, again please advise Eko. Whilst every care will be taken with your clothes, we regret we can not take any responsibility for any items not washing up to your expectations.

Each telephone comes with Rp.100,000 credit. After this is used, if you require more credit you can purchase this from the Anyar Estate staff. As there is no land line at the villa, this hand phone is the only phone here and therefore not to leave the villa. It is our only emergency contact.
Broadband Internet
The villas have broadband wireless internet access. Network key codes will be supplied on arrival.

Every morning the Jakarta Post (English) will be delivered for your reading.
Anyar Estate Transport
Mr Kus is Anyar Estate’s own driver, he speaks good English and drives a brand new Toyota Fortuna. This vehicle will seat seven passengers in comfort. Kus can be contacted on 08155 801 5018, his normal working day is 8 hours from his first call. Any hours worked over 8 hours will be logged by Kus and charged at 30,000 per hour. The invoice will be given to you prior to leaving.
Rental Transport
Anyar Transport service is just up the road, and one of our staff can arrange a car for you with just 30 minutes notice. The price is relatively cheap (about Rp. 30,000 into Seminyak) – and the car and driver can either wait for you (for a small fee) – or you can easily catch a taxi back. It’s best to catch one of the BlueBird taxis – as they are generally very clean, reliable and honest.

Equally, we can arrange a motor scooter for you for your stay, which are great fun, give you heaps of independence, and are a great way to get around. A scooter will cost you about Rp 40,000 a day, and includes helmets. We highly recommend that you obtain your international motor bike licence first – however even if you don’t have one and get pulled over – it generally only means a slightly higher fine (expect to pay about Rp100,000 for whatever you have or haven’t done!)

Finally, we can also arrange the hire of some bicycles for your stay. The roads are generally flat and easy enough to peddle around. It shouldn’t take more than 30 minutes to peddle into the hustle & bustle of central Seminyak – and is easy enough to find your way back.
Food & Drink
Villa Anyar’s Cooking Service
This service is included with Villa Anyar, you can do your own food shopping or Iluh or Kadek will organise for the shopping to be done for you. They can prepare many delicious Indonesian and Western cuisine’s, many of our guests like to have their dinners organised for them. The cooks are available for serving at the villa from morning till afternoon. If they are required to work more than eight hours per day then the guests at Villa Anyar are asked to pay her an overtime rate of Rp.20,000 per hour.
Other choices for dinner include stoking up the BBQ, ordering in. Alternatively, there are 100’s of restaurants all within a 15 to 20 minute taxi ride, particularly along Jalan Legian and Jalan Oberoi.
We also highly recommend The Beachhouse on Echo Beach, Canngu, which is a fantastic surf beach for locals and tourists alike. The Beachhouse is open from 8.00am until 11.00pm 7 days a week, and does great breakfasts, long boozy lunches and fresh seafood BBQ’s right on the beach every night. The sunset drinks at 5.00pm are a great way to end the day, and Sunday night’s feature live music.
Our other recommendation for eat in and home deliveries is Wrap-A-Snapper. Freshly grilled seafood, traditional fish and chips, great salads, and cold beers and wine and is located at the top of Jalan Oberoi.

In-House Entertaiment
Villa Anyar is equipped to receive more than 50 international television channels with a home movie surround sound system incorporating a DVD player.
The following instructions are to help you to select the veiwing entertainment.
After turning the TV on from the Sony remote control (the green power button) The only other button you will need to touch is the volume control and the white button beneath the green when you want to view a DVD .
The Indovision remote changes the Satelite Channels, the only buttons you need to touch are the CH + and CH- the unit is always left on.
The Sony AV System remote changes the function of the unit. You either have it on SAT for viewing TV or DVD for viewing DVD's. The surround sound is activated. The button to use is the white function button below the green button.
Personal Stuff
Privacy
The staff start work at 9:00 am, if you require complete privacy please advise Eko, he will organise with yourself a suitable time for the staff to clean the villa and swimming pool.
Babysitting
The Balinese adore children and are excellent babysitters. Just ask Eko to organise either a full time nanny or one or two of the day staff to stay on late for the occasions when you go out day or night. For evening babysitting the staff will require Rp.20,000 per hour for each member of staff which you pay direct to them.
Massage
If you require a massage from our local massage company, the Cendana Spa. Please advise Mr Eko in advance. He will organise someone to come at the requested time. If you would like to organise this yourself the telephone number is: (0361) 7855 5024.
